I hope she gets to at least serve the one year that's left after calculating time served. It's not the justice I want but it's better than nothing.

It makes me wonder now, is our justice system so good?
The jury did not believe she is innocent. Should they have been able to say that and ask for a different charge and not let her go?
It does not seem right.

Agreed. Imagine Drama goes to trial for a roid rage attack on his hairdresser for messing up his highlights. He is charged with attempted murder by the prosecution. There is doubt that he wanted to actually kill her in the midst of his spitting rage, so the jury lets him go. The jury shouldn't have the right to say, "He is guilty of assault" instead, because the prosecution didn't charge him with assault, it was attempted murder.
