It doesn't to me at all. (I just looked up the Coldplay song on youtube & heard it.) I'm sorry, I can't stand Coldplay at all. You Make Me Smile is one of my favorites, though. I love it Exclamation

"Dracula From Houston" by the Butthole Surfers reminds me of "Houston's Finest Day" by Blue October. Both songs also remind me of "Beast of Burden" by The Rolling Stones.

For some odd reason the song, Sweet and somber pigeon wings, reminds me of the band Deadsy, which I happen to like just as much as Blue October.
