That's when I'm sure I saw them in Modesto opening for Vertical Horizon and I think the San Jose date was with Eve 6

There is a date for the Promowest Pavillion here in Columbus, Ohio where the guys opened for Vertical Horizon that's missing... I believe in either September or, possibly October.


It was my first show... But, I can't remember the exact date.

I know, I know "shame be upon my bald melon."


I'll see if I still have the stub with the date ensconced in the bowl of honor in my Blue October shrine when I get to the house tonight.

Part of the release of HFS was i think a 3 cd release party. Dallas____ San Antonio. It was with South FM

2 things stood out for me, a select few of us new the songs on the new album and the reworkings, ie a scream here etc. and a guy got drunk got up on stage and sang breakfast after 10, very poorly at the San Antonio one

Somewhere in the Halloween time-frame, they played the Music Box in Omaha with Isola opening. This was my first show and the Music Box's last show. And so the saga began...

edit: I found it. They played the Music Box on 24 and 25 October. I believe they also played Knickerbocker's in Lincoln the next Monday or Tuesday, because I almost drove down to catch another show, and if I'd had time to listen to the CDs I'd bought at the show yet, I'm sure I would have.
