First time I saw Blue October. I didn't even know who they were. I went with my sister just to get away from the roommates that night. Was I in for a surprise.......

Best live show I've ever seen in my life. I was absolutely stunned by Justin's performance. And similar to what Sotxter mentioned above, I couldn't believe I was witnessing a show this phenomenal at a dive like this. (It was a pool hall. Not even a music venue)

I remember leaving that show furious, knowing that there are musicians that talented, and that we never hear about them because the majority of our society cant appreciate good music. Thankfully a large group of people who have good taste in music were somehow all able to hear Blue October, and help put them where they are. Thank guys. And girls! Haha!!

i remember in late April 2004 Blue October held a press conference and played a concert at an auditorium at a school - either a middle school or a high school in Texas. I remember fans posting the setlist and photos from the show. I remember Razorblade was on the setlist. Piper was wearing a tutu in the photos.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyone remember the date or location of this show or anything more about it? This show was not listed in the regular tour dates because it was a special event.

Another special event was later in 2004. Justin and Ryan played an acoustic show at Jordan Creek Town Center in West Des Moines, Iowa. Photos and setlist were posted here. I remember Artha was on the setlist. The show was sponsored by Star 102.5 radio out of Des Moines. I remember I wanted to attend the show, but I was in Texas and had just seen Blue October. Ryan and Justin flew up to Des Moines, but I would have had to drive all night to get there. I think it was the day after the show at Firewater with Jay Quinn and Isola, which means the West Des Moines show was September 11th, 2004. Can anybody confirm this date?

Keiv, I believe the show you are referring to at a school was at the UTD campus in Dallas. It was in their student union. They opened for Bowling for Soup. I don't remember the first band.
